The Butyl Hybrid formula, a new BT25XL Window and Door Sealing Tape, provides maximum adhesion even in extreme temperatures. The new blend also has increased adhesion on difficult to adhere substrates such as OSB and DensGlass Gold. The tape forms a permanent seal around doors and windows that prevents air and moisture leaks. Moisture intrusion that causes black mold is eliminated. The tape can be installed and left exposed for 120 days without any UV degradation. It is also the only flashing tape that has passed ASTM E331-90 hurricane level windblown rain test, the supplier reports.

The Protecto Sill Drainage System combines a peel-and-stick adhesive with positive-sloped, closed-cell foam to direct any water or condensation found inside window openings to the outside weather plane of the structure. The product is the only peel-and-stick waterproofing flexible pan system to exceed architectural testing levels of ASTM air and water standards, the company reports. The key to the product is a mold-resistant wicking material applied to the top of the waterproofing membrane, which absorbs and transfers moisture to the outside. The closed-cell foam design also boasts a ½-inch back dam to promote additional drainage and protection. The system accommodates 2- by 4-inch or 2- by 6-inch construction for vinyl or aluminum windows.
