The manufacturer has significantly expanded its product offerings with the addition of seven new clad casings and four new subsills that are factory-applied and highly customized to meet a homeowner’s particular tastes. Customers can now get both a wide choice of historic profiles and a durable, Kynar finish that looks pristine, but requires very low maintenance.
The Ultimate Double-Hung Magnum Round Top meets the demand for easy-to-operate, high-performance and historically compliant windows, in large sizes. The line is provided in a range of large sizes and several shapes in double- and single-hung variations, including elliptical, eyebrow and true radius shapes.
The Marvin Architectural Hardware collection, including an enhanced selection of swinging French door handlesets and new hardware options for sliding doors and windows, provides customers with more than 1,000 possible combinations of door handles and window hardware to achieve a custom look for the home. Hardware can be ordered quickly through distributors and retailers, as order software has built in controls to assure accuracy and take the guesswork out of the process.
The Ultimate Swinging Screen has no visible fasteners and features panels with traditional shadow lines to create a classic millwork look. The Storm Insert Option, comprised of an aluminum-surrounded glass panel, can be used to prepare a home for any season. The new screen door is designed for the manufacturer’s rectangular and arch-top wood and clad-wood inswing French doors.
New 2 1/4-inch French doors with standard sizes stretching to 8 and 10 feet tall help homeowners make a grand entrance. Offered in a variety of configurations, the doors feature 6-inch stiles and top rail and an 8 1/8-inch bottom rail.

Milgard Windows & Doors

The Smart Touch lock allows homeowners to open and close, lock and unlock their windows in one, smooth motion. The mechanism is recessed into the frame, so when locked, the latch is down and out of sight. If the window is open, the latch stays open indicating it is unlocked.
A line of fiberglass entry doors offers more than 40 door styles and 500 variations including 12 unique glass designs to enhance a home’s curb appeal while remaining energy efficient and weather tight.
Double-hung and tilt sash windows are new to the Ultra and WoodClad lines. Featuring a fiberglass frame and sash design with standard SunCoat low-E glass, the windows offer traditional ventilation of a double-hung design with benefit of top and bottom tilt-in sash. A fusion lock activates the tilt latches, meaning no exposed latches. The windows are equipped with constant force balancers to ease operation.
Mastri vinyl replacement windows and patio doors feature an argon gas-filled, insulating glass unit with non-metallic Super Spacer technology. SunCoat low-E glass reduces summertime solar heat gain and help block wintertime heat loss. The frame design and properties reduce air infiltration, and the dual pane glass and noise-dampening frame configurations provide a quieter atmosphere for the homeowner.
Montecito series vinyl windows, designed for new home construction, are offered in a wide range of operating styles. They meet Energy Star requirements, without the use of argon gas, the manufacturer reports. The series features 3 1/4-inch frame depth and an integral nail fin with 1 3/8-inch setback for easy installation. The windows come with a standard SmartTouch lock, designed to engage when the window is closed.
As an upgrade option for the manufacturer’s entire line of products, SunCoatMax low-E insulating glass utilizes triple coating technology to provide new levels of solar heat gain control, energy efficiency, and optimal UV protection, the manufacturer states. The glass reduces heat gain as much as 60 percent more than ordinary single-coat low-E glass. In the winter, the glass keeps the interior glass surface temperature higher to reduce cold drafts. It also provides greater protection for furniture and flooring by providing 95 percent ultraviolet light blockage.

MW Classic Series and Classic Series Impact vinyl windows are offered in a variety of accent models, and now operating shapes. The new models provide a cost-effective solution to provide the look of arched or half-round transoms.

Architectural Elements doorlites combine classic decorative glass designs with generous fluted mouldings and corner medallions. Designed for wide panel fiberglass doors, the collection is offered in four glass styles and four caming finishes.
Maintaining privacy in the home is now easier with the Enclosed Shade, a cellular shade sealed between tempered safety glass that raises and lowers by simply adjusting the control bar on the doorlite frame. The shade provides all the features and benefits of enclosed blinds: no dusting, easy to install, no exposed cords, increased energy efficiency and no swinging blinds.
The Michael Graves Collection of doorlites features three elegantly clean designs inspired by trends in architecture, fashion and housewares. The Acacia style features abstracted floral motifs connected vertically by parallel lines to work well with any home exterior, from contemporary to traditional. The line also includes the Vienna and Fleur-de-lis styles.
Severe Weather Doorglass Blinds for entrance systems are designed to meet Florida and Texas wind-borne requirements, including High Velocity Hurricane Zone standards. The Light-Touch control allows homeowners to raise, lower and tilt the blinds, which are sealed between glass.
ODL tubular skylights meet nationwide Energy Star criteria and bring natural daylight into the dark spaces in a home to help cut energy costs. The Solar Lens Dome increases light through the tube, optimizing available sunlight even during low-light hours.
The Madison decorative doorlite design is inspired by the arts and crafts movement and features nickel vein wrought iron caming that easily coordinates with exterior fixtures, hardware or interior motifs. The line uses handcrafted micro-cubed glass to create privacy while admitting natural light into the home.
Improvements to ODL’s retractable screen door make installation and usage easier. A new magnetic latch provides a more secure closure and a larger top track offers additional screen coverage. A more robust screen handle and slam proof bumper allows the screen handle to retract back quickly without slamming or pinching fingers.
The limited edition Ventura doorlite line features deeply beveled glass accented with faceted red and clear Strass Swarovski crystals, all set within rich patina caming. Designed to for a dramatic entry, each set, consisting of the doorlites, both sidelites and a half-round transom, is numbered by the designer, with only 50 sets available.
