Awning windows feature a contemporary design that stands the test of time, and also give homeowners to let the fresh breeze indoors, even during spring showers. The versatile, outward-opening window offers ventilation with privacy when placed high on a wall, and easy access across sinks and counters with its smooth one-handed cranking action. Semco awnings feature a heavy-duty Roto-gear operator, with a corrosion-resistant coating, that moves concealed hinges up and down to move the sash in and out.
The wide-open uninterrupted view of French swinging patio doors is now offered with eyebrow elegance. The door closes tightly with a multi-point locking hardware system and smooth operating adjustable hinges. A wide variety of interior, exterior and grille options are available.

Silver Line Windows

The Series 8700 Replacement Sliding Window is now offered in a WeatherStopper impact-resistant version, as well as a new 73 x 63 inch size. The impact ratings are achieved by using laminated glass, reinforcement of the sash, adding a sill anchor plate and making either moving panel a fixed panel.
Flat exterior casing on the Series 3000 vinyl windows recreates the classic style on homes built over a century ago. Emulating the appearance of 1 x 4 wood casing, it is applied directly to the window at the factory allowing fast, convenient installation at the job site.
SDLs offer the look of traditional handcrafted mullions. Permanently adhered to both sides of the glass, with a spacer bar installed between the glass, SDLs come in a contoured style made out of cellular PVC with vinyl cladding. They are offered in 7/8 and 1 inch widths in white and beige.

Simonton Windows

Stormbreaker Plus sliding impact vinyl doors are available in a wide number of sizes to meet various design needs, including demand for larger doors. Made with one lite of tempered glass and one lite of impact-resistance laminated glass, the doors can be supplied with such glass options as low-E and greylite (turtle glass). Fiberglass hideaway screens and stainless steel hardware are standard on the doors.

The PD08 retrofit sliding patio door features enhanced design flexibility and comes in seven sizes. The vinyl door includes a sculpted exterior on the sash and frame, matching picture frames for sidelites and transoms, and a 1-inch thick IG unit. The sash is welded and controls a multipoint locking system. A standard heavy-duty, extruded aluminum sliding screen or optional hideaway screen is available.

Solatube

A tubular daylighting system utilizes breakthrough technology, design and materials to bring natural lighting inside, illuminating up to 300 square feet with one unit, the company reports. It collects and directs low-angle sunlight, increasing the hours of daylight brought into the room. A moisture control system features a triple-seal system to lock out air, moisture, dust and bugs. Less heat is transferred in as direct, mid-day visible light is deflected away from the tube.

Therma-Tru

The Tru-Defense System for entry and patio doors combines high-performance doors and components certified to work together to offer a DP rating of 40 or higher to protect homes from severe weather. The line also includes Tru-Defense Lip-Lite impact-rated glass and opaque impact-rated doors, featuring a steel plate underneath the skin for added strength and rigidity against hurricane-force winds.
FinishRight technology provides a factory-finished door that is ready to install without having to wait for hand-applied stains to dry. Five stain colors, carrying a five-year finish warranty, are offered for many Classic-Craft and Fiber-Classic door systems.
Bella is a graceful, European-inspired decorative glass design with delicate accents, well suited to Victorian, country or French architectural styles. It is available with granite or bronze water glass on Classic-Craft mahogany and oak collection doors.
Augustine decorative glass combines wrought iron leaves and flowing lines highlighted by a background of granite glass. It is available for Classic-Craft Rustic collection doors in both arch and radius tops.
Camino decorative glass features geometric lines of wrought iron set against Chinchilla glass. Enhancing rustic and Spanish-inspired architecture, the line is available for Classic-Craft Rustic collection doors, including both arch and radius tops.
Blackstone decorative glass marries timeless tradition with a modern feel. Featuring Rainglass that provides privacy but allows light in, it is offered in brushed or black nickel caming for Fiber-Classic, Smooth-Star and Therma-Tru steel doors.
Salinas decorative combines curved and angled geometric lines in wrought iron with Oceana glass for maximum privacy. Designed for Spanish, traditional, Victorian or rustic style homes, the glass option is available for Fiber-Classic, Smooth-Star and Therma-Tru steel doors.
To complement the growing popularity of higher ceilings and grand entryways, new 8-foot door models, along with matching sidelites, have been added to the Classic-Craft American Style, Mahogany and Rustic Collections. An 8-foot Smooth-Star embossed two-panel soft arch model has also been added.
The ProEdge steel door line featured high-definition panel embossing, an adjustable hinge plate, an easy-to-slide-on bottom sweep and durable steel-edge construction. Up-and-down and in-and-out adjustability allow for an improved fit, operation and sealing.
