Visions 3000 premium vinyl windows and patio doors incorporate sloped sills and stepped exterior frames to provide the character of architectural wood windows. The Neoclassical Collection joins the Spanish-Colonial Collection in Weather Shield’s Collections line of wood windows and doors targeted at upscale custom homes. The new line provides the delicate detailing of Adam and Georgian architectural styles, with a narrow sash profile and refined 7/8-inch SDLs. Models include push-out casement, push-out French casement, double-hung tilt, transom, picture and single-hung tilt, as well as sliding and hinged doors.
Enhancements to ProShield casement windows make them more convenient, beautiful and durable, the manufacturer states. A new, thicker jamb profile and rigid re-enforceable sash design improve the product’s strength and depth, while the steeper slope of the new putty bead profile delivers the look of an authentic wood window. An easy-to-operate nested handle is now standard on the casement window, offering a sleek alternative that won’t interfere with window coverings or sight lines.
A push-out casement window, featuring a 1 3/4-inch jamb thickness for quality and strength, has been added to the manufacturer’s flagship Weather Shield line. Single-throw locks and friction hinges ensure a virtually weathertight seal and years of effortless operation. A putty profile on the exterior glazing bead and SDL grille bars have steep angles and flat surfaces that deliver crisp sightlines and a more historic look.
The Weather Shield telescoping sliding patio door now stretch to an overall width of 24 feet in two, three, four, six and eight panels. Each panel of the door slides behind the next as it opens, making the door perfect for rooms where interior or exterior clearance may not accommodate a hinged or bi-fold door. The doors feature 1 3/4-inch thick panels with stiles and rails of traditional French doors.
Legacy Series bi-fold patio doors for openings as large as 23 feet stacks one panel on top of the next as it slides across the overhead track. Three-foot standard door panels are 2 1/4-inch thick with LVL at their core for greater structural integrity. Bottom rails of 10 or 12 inches and 5-inch top rails provide a stunning, hard-to-match design.

Available in single-glazed and insulating glass units, LifeGuard windows and doors provide lasting beauty, superior energy performance and sound control while reducing the likelihood of wind-borne debris entering a home and subsequently subjecting it to destructive water damage. Built for strength without compromising beauty, the products feature laminated glass with a tough layer of a minimum .090 gauge polyvinyl butyral bonded between two panes of annealed, heat-strengthened or tempered glass.

Next Dimension Pro vinyl windows are targeted at builders and contractors looking for an attractive alternative to aluminum or a more cost sensitive product. The single-hung, slider, picture and geometric windows incorporates Super Spacer foam channel for thermal performance. The design features a brickmould with a J-channel frame, as well as a straight-frame option.
Pinnacle Clad windows and doors are now offered in vertical grain fir to offer warmth and beauty for discriminating customers. The manufacturer has also expanded its exterior pallet with 30 new Feature Clad Color options added its seven standard clad colors.

Escutcheon plates are substantially thicker, taller, wider and made of materials like solid brass, not zinc. Handles are impeccably crafted and elegantly designed.
New 300 series stainless steel casement hardware, offered with tongues or shootbolts, is designed to be used for handle-operated out-swing or in-swing casements. Available for sash heights between 15 3/4 and 82 1/2 inches, the hardware conforms to standard North American designs, can be used on wood, vinyl, fiberglass or aluminum windows and is engineered to perform for windows with impact requirements.
The two-way adjustable Atlas-Hinge is constructed of thick 3 mm steel or stainless steel, with no nylon or plastic bushings and only integrated ball bearings, to offer the same quality and longevity as commercial ball bearing hinges, the company says. This 4 1/2 by 4-inch hinge allows positive vertical and horizontal adjustment and offers a sash capacity of 264 pounds to accommodate heavy glass and oversize doors.
