Winkhaus hook corner drive
Winkhaus North America introduces a hook corner drive in combination with its 300 series stainless steel “One Motion” multipoint locking system. Recurrent hurricanes and other weather disasters mean tougher building codes and the desire to avoid product liability issues with higher rated doors. The robust, tapered hook design pulls the door smoothly into the frame against the gasket for a tight seal, while engaging behind the strike plates to provide a positive engagement that will outperform other locking mechanisms through the highest performance requirements, according to the company. Previously, the strength of hooks could only be utilized on the locking side of the door.
